Batik Klompen (c) 2012 StellaSono
This is a combination of traditional art from Dutch and Indonesia. Klompen is a Dutch Farmer’s shoes. Instead of ring, Dutch Farmer used to crave Klompen for the woman they propose for marriage. At least, that is what explain from my guide at Amsterdam. The batik consists Parang, kawung and floral pattern. I used Pencil Watercolor Derwent. The color is well pigmented and doesnt fade even after few years in any temperature.
